Step 1: Log Into FarmRaise Tracks

Begin by logging into your FarmRaise Tracks account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Data Export Section

Once logged in, follow these steps to access the reporting features:

  1. From your Dashboard, locate the Data Export section, typically found in the main menu on the left-hand side of the screen or if you are in the mobile app, on the right-hand side under Menu.

  2. Click on Transactions to open up the available financial and transaction reporting options.

Step 3: Pull a Vendor Report

To pull a custom vendor report, follow these steps:

  1. In the Transaction section, find the option for Build my own CSV.

  2. Set the timeframe you want to analyze, such as "Last Month" or any custom date range.

  3. Apply additional filters if necessary, such as vendor/customer name, transaction type, or categories (e.g., supplies, feed, equipment).

    1. This is where you will want to type in the customer name if you have been adding revenue transactions from the invoicing feature.

  4. Select the columns that you want to include.

  5. Click Generate Report to pull the custom vendor report, which will detail all the payments made to your vendors or from your customers during that period.

You can export the report as a CSV file for further analysis or record-keeping.

Step 4: Analyze the Data

Once you have generated the report, you can:

  • Calculate how much you have spent with that vendor or how much a customer has spent with you during that time period.

  • See what products this customer is buying the most of during the selected time period.

  • Find out what vendor you are spending the most money at for which product or category.

Additional Tips:

  • If you're managing several vendors or customers, use the filtering options in the spreadsheet to narrow down the results and focus on specific transactions.

  • Regularly pulling these reports helps you stay on top of your farm's financials and ensure you're maintaining healthy relationships with vendors and customers.

By following these steps, you can efficiently track vendor payments and customer purchases within FarmRaise Tracks, keeping your farm's finances organized and transparent.
