Keeping track of your farm finances is easy with the Search Transactions feature in FarmRaise Tracks. Whether you need to find specific expenses, bulk edit transactions, or categorize purchases more accurately, this guide will walk you through the process.

Steps to Search Transactions

  1. Go to Transactions

    • Log into FarmRaise Tracks.

    • Navigate to the Transactions tab on the left-hand menu.

  2. Open the Search Feature

    • Click on Search Transactions at the top of the page.

    • By default, the system will show transactions for the current month.

  3. Adjust the Date Range

    • Click on the date filter.

    • Select a specific month or enter a custom date range.

    • Click Apply to update your search results.

  4. Use Keywords to Find Transactions

    • Click on the search bar.

    • Type in a vendor name (e.g., Walmart or Tractor Supply).

    • Press Enter to filter transactions by that vendor.

  5. Bulk Edit Transactions (Optional)

    • After searching for a vendor, click Edit Multiple on the right-hand side.

    • Select all transactions or manually deselect any that don’t apply.

    • Choose a new category (e.g., "Other/Personal" or "Feed").

    • Click Save to update the transactions.

  6. Additional Search Filters

    • Filter transactions by Income or Expense categories.

    • Add Product Assignments when editing transactions.

    • Adjust date ranges to find historical records.

Now your transactions will be categorized accurately, keeping your farm finances organized.
