How to delete a transaction

Delete a transaction you've created, delete a transaction from a manual or linked account

If you need to delete an expense or revenue you've created in FarmRaise Tracks, follow these simple steps:

This guide also includes instructions for handling special cases, such as deleting refund transactions.

Steps to Delete a Transaction

  1. Open the Transactions Page

  • Click on any transaction to view the expense details page. You can do this from any tab, but for this example, we’ll select an expense from the Expenses tab.

  1. Navigate to the Bottom of the Expense Details Page

  • Scroll to the bottom of the transaction details page.

  1. Select 'Delete Expense'

  • Click the Delete Expense button to remove the transaction from your records.4. If the transaction is a refund, ensure you first remove the refund relationship by editing the refund transaction, toggling off the "This is a refund" switch, and saving the changes before deletion.

Linked Transactions: Why Can’t I Delete an Expense?

If you are having trouble deleting an expense that was pulled from a linked bank account, it may be because the transaction has not been posted yet. Bank transactions typically take 24-72 hours to fully process.

  • Wait 24-72 hours for the transaction to post.

  • If, after 72 hours, you still do not have the option to delete the transaction, please contact our support team at [email protected].
