Keeping track of receipts is an important part of farm record-keeping. In FarmRaise, you can upload receipts either through your web browser or on the FarmRaise mobile app. On the app, you can even take a picture of your receipt directly.
Adding a Receipt on the Web Browser
Click the Quick Add button.
Select Add Expense.
Enter the required details:
Vendor name (for example, Tractor Supply)
Expense amount
If it’s from a manual account, choose the correct account
Add a category and product, if needed
Scroll down to the Upload Receipt button.
You can upload a PDF or an image file.
Once uploaded, you’ll be able to view or download the receipt.
Finish by adding the transaction.
Adding a Receipt on the Mobile App
Tap the Quick Add button.
Select Add Expense.
Enter the required details:
Vendor name
Expense amount
Select a manual account if needed
Add a category and product, if needed
Tap Upload Receipt.
You’ll have the option to take a picture of your receipt or upload an existing image or PDF.
Once uploaded, you can view or download the receipt.
Add the transaction.
Adding a Receipt to a Linked Transaction
If your bank account is linked to FarmRaise:
Wait until the transaction has posted. Then:
Find the transaction.
Click Edit.
Upload your receipt.
If the transaction hasn’t posted yet, you can still upload a receipt, but be aware:
A duplicate transaction may appear later.
Our team is working on a fix for this.
How to Know if a Receipt is Attached
Any transaction with a receipt will show a small receipt icon next to it.
