Updating your linked bank account in FarmRaise Tracks

Keeping your bank connection up to date in FarmRaise Tracks ensures your financial data remains accurate and synced. Follow these simple steps to refresh or update your linked bank account:

FarmRaise uses Plaid to securely manage these connections, ensuring both functionality and the security of your financial data.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Menu

  • Log into your FarmRaise Tracks account.

  • Tap the Menu icon. You won't have to click the menu on the web browser app as the menu bar is always showing on the left-hand side of the screen. On the mobile app, it will be in the bottom right-hand corner.

  1. Navigate to "Accounts"

  • From the menu options, select Accounts to view all your linked bank accounts.

  1. Select the Account You Want to Update

  • Click on the specific bank account you wish to update.

  1. Click "Edit"

  • In the top right-hand corner of the account details screen, tap the Edit button.

  1. Click "Update Connection"

  • You’ll see an option labeled Update connection. Click it.

  1. Wait for the Connection to Reload

  • FarmRaise Tracks will attempt to reconnect with your bank. This may take a few moments. If successful, your accounts will be updated automatically without duplication. Verify your account selections during this process to avoid accidental disconnections.

  1. Re-enter Login Credentials if Prompted

  • If your banking institution requires re-authentication, you’ll be asked to log in again to refresh your credentials. If you cannot locate a business account, check your bank settings to ensure they are enabled for third-party integrations like Plaid.

Adding a New Business Account

If you have a new business account, you can re-run the Plaid linking process without duplicating existing connections. Navigate to Accounts, select the bank you wish to update, and choose Edit > Update Connection. During the Plaid linking process, ensure your existing accounts remain selected while adding the new account. This method prevents duplication and ensures all accounts are properly linked.
