Submit a Practice Log for a Field

Learn how to report completed field activities, submit multiple practice logs throughout the season, and update previous entries while using date stamps to track what you reported and when on your program application.

Written by Isabelle Talkington

As the season progresses, your program may ask you to report on field activities and practices as you complete them. This can be called a practice log, verification, or reporting, and you may need to submit it multiple times throughout the year for the same field.

Submitting a Practice Log

  1. From your dashboard, find the practice reporting section

  2. Select the field or fields you want to report on

  3. Answer the questions about the activity or practice you completed (for example: cover crops, planting, fertility application)

  4. Click Submit

Once submitted, you'll see a date and timestamp logged for that submission on your dashboard.

Submitting Multiple Practice Logs for the Same Field

Unlike other forms, practice logs can be submitted more than once for the same field. Each time you complete a new activity, you can come back and submit a new log entry.

  • Each submission is saved separately with its own date

  • You can submit as many logs as needed throughout the season

  • There is no limit to how many times you can report on a field

Updating a Practice Log Submission

If you need to correct something you already submitted:

  1. Find the submission on your dashboard

  2. Click Update

  3. Make your changes and resubmit

Tip: Use the date stamps on your submissions to keep track of what you've reported and when. This is especially helpful when reporting on multiple practices across multiple fields throughout the growing season.
