Submitting a Fillable PDF Form

Learn how to complete, preview, sign, and submit fillable PDF forms like a W-9. See how your answers populate the official document and how to download or receive a copy after submission.

Some forms in FarmRaise will ask you to fill out information that generates an official PDF document, such as a W-9. These forms work a little differently from standard question forms, so here's what to expect.

Filling Out the Form

  1. Find the form on your dashboard and click Start Filling

  2. A preview of the official document will appear on the right side of your screen for reference

  3. Use the zoom and screen size controls if you need a closer look at the document instructions

  4. Scroll down and begin answering the questions

    • As you answer, your responses are automatically inserted into the official PDF template in the background

  5. Once you've read through all certification statements, add your signature and date

Previewing Before You Submit

Before submitting, you have the option to preview the filled-out document:

  1. Click Preview to see the completed form

  2. Review your answers and make sure everything looks correct

  3. Click Go Back to Form when you're done reviewing

Important: Always use Go Back to Form after previewing, not Go Back to Dashboard. Going back to the dashboard will not save your work.

Submitting the Form

  1. Once you're satisfied with your responses, click Submit

  2. On the confirmation page, you can download a copy of the completed PDF

  3. A PDF copy will also be emailed to your email address on file

Note: Not all fillable forms will generate an email copy. This depends on the type of document required by your program.
