Withholding Account Number & Filing Cycle
New businesses can register online. Successful registration will generate your Withholding Account Number and filing cycle within 10 days.
UI Account Number
New businesses can register online. Successful registration will generate your UI Account Number.
Tax Rates
You can locate your Contribution Rate, Workforce Development Fund Rate, and Special Administrative Reserve Rate on the Notice of Taxable Wage Rate sent by the ID Department of Labor. For additional details, please reach out to the agency at (208) 332-3576.
How to locate these numbers if you’re already registered:
You can find your Withholding Account Number on any mail you have received from the Idaho State Tax Commission.
You can find your Account Filing Cycle on the notice you received when you registered with the Idaho State Tax Commission for the first time.
You can find your UI Account Number on the Notice of Taxable Wage Rate you received from the Idaho Department of Labor.
You can find your Contribution Rate, Workforce Development Fund Rate, and Special Administrative Reserve Rate on the Notice of Taxable Wage Rate you received from the Idaho Department of Labor.

Third-Party Access (TPA)
Linking us as your third-party administrator will ensure we are able to complete the quarterly filings and amendments (if applicable) in a timely manner.
Steps to grant TPA to Idaho Withholding Account
We initiate the TPA process by submitting a request to access your account online.
Your company will receive a letter that notifies you of our request.
Please email the letter that includes a TAP access code which is required to complete the online link.
Note: The tax agency puts an expiration date on the code they send to you.
Steps to grant TPA to Idaho Unemployment Account
The tax agency requires we provide them your assigned PIN to gain online TPA access to your employer account. Please send an email to [email protected] with this information. If you do not know your assigned PIN, please contact Idaho Unemployment at (208) 947-1055 or (800) 448-2977.
