If you're a farmer or rancher wondering whether FarmRaise Payroll takes care of the heavy lifting when it comes to payroll filings, the answer is a resounding YES! Through our payroll partner, Salsa, we offer what is commonly known as “full-service payroll.” This means that all required federal and state payroll filings are prepared and filed on your behalf, making it one less thing you need to worry about.

Here’s what’s covered:

  • Quarterly and Annual Filings: We ensure that both your quarterly and annual payroll reports are submitted on time.

  • End-of-Year Worker Filings: We handle all the paperwork for your employees' W-2s and for contractors’ 1099s at the end of the year.

  • Federal and State Reporting: Whether it's federal filings or state-specific requirements, we've got you covered.

This level of service is designed to streamline your operation so that you can focus on what you do best—running your farm or ranch, producing food, and contributing to the future of agriculture.

A Quick Note on IRS Form 943

One important thing to keep in mind: Salsa currently does not support the filing of IRS Form 943. This form is specific to employers who report agricultural employee wages and withholdings, so if this applies to your operation, you will need to file Form 943 yourself or through another service.

At FarmRaise, we understand how complex payroll can be, especially for farmers and ranchers who have unique needs. That’s why we aim to provide a solution that simplifies the process, giving you more time to focus on your land, livestock, and livelihood. Let us take care of the details so you can keep moving forward.

If you have any more questions or need clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re here to support your operation every step of the way.
